Putney Music Festival
The hugely popular Putney Music Festival will be held again this year over the Boat Race weekend. The festival features live and DJ-presented music and events throughout Putney's great selection of pubs, clubs and restaurants.
Organised by Wandsworth Council and now in its eleventh year, it has grown to become a key London event with excellent support from Putney venues and businesses. This year 21 venues will be putting on 33 music acts over the three day period from Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 30.
The event has everything from opera to rock, Latin to folk and traditional to indie-pop in venues across Putney.
In addition, Church Square (by the Odeon) will be the site of the Farmers Market, plus outdoor music and fun in St Mary's Church courtyard, free trials at the Virgin Active gym barbecues at the Spencer Arms and a beer festival at the Bricklayers Arms.
